Old school son!

I couldn’t call this series before the first game, Cleveland has changed their game since the regular season and the Warriors dusting them. The East was definitely tough for this year, maybe the best the East has been in a long time and the West definitely fell off. But at the very top of the east and the very top of the West, and these playoffs it’s become apparent the Gap is still wide.

Unlike Oklahoma, Cleveland doesn’t have a deep bench, all respect to Sir Richard Jefferson aside. Tristan Thompson and Kevin Love don’t have the defense inside , Massey is on the bench because he’s way too slow. Irving is going to be exposed as the matchup problem that he is inside, and Thompson is going to be exposed as the matchup problem he is outside. I saw three open dunks and a half-court defense open basket! That’s like grade school breakdown.

Clearly the switching man-to-man thing is not going to be working for Cleveland so what’s next? Fall back into the modified professional NBA Zone? Against the team that shoots 50% from the 3! It’s all bad, it’s all bad.

King James is a beast there is no doubt about that but there is strength in numbers, my friends. strength in numbers.

Warriors in 5 or 4
